What a beautiful day to get married at the amazing Casa Marina! This Venue is perfect for weddings, partly because it's very presidential. Having a perfect wedding on the beach and then having the reception in the ball room is great to me.  Having a room where you can really "bang" the music is great not only for the photography but the whole party really loves it.  

It was an honor to be the wedding photographer for this super fun couple.  I know they did a lot of research before choosing me.  They really knew what they wanted and they were so appreciative of my work from start to finish. Congratulations to Mia and Michael.

Lauren & Bryan were such a pleasure to work with.  The couple works at a very exclusive resort in the Florida Keys which I work frequently at, as well.  I was looking forward to this day for a while.  Amazing couple.  Lauren is one of the most gracious and appreciative brides ever.  This wedding took place at Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon, FL.  I love being creative and making a great venue look amazing.  One of the things I loved most about this wedding was that the love from the friends and family had such a joyful charm.  Lauren and Bryan are Key West locals, so there were so many guests.  The getting ready photographs were in the hotel room of the Faro Blanco.  Then we moved to the beach by the lighthouse.  I remember that the wedding was running late. I helped organize the guests and put on the boutonnieres so we would not miss the sunset.  Helping the wedding coordinators when possible is just part of the job.  

For the ceremony, I photographed Lauren's face first.  During the ceremony I always photograph the bride looking at the groom first in case the bride "tears up."  After the ceremony, there was beautiful lighting.  As I showed them photographs on the back the camera, I remember them just being "blown away by the images."  I truly get a "natural high" when I see the joy on their faces loving the photographs.  After the reception, they begged me to stay and have some drinks, but I had to go home and download the images.  Making sure the images are safe is the final and most important part of being a wedding photographer.

I'm always excited to photograph a wedding at the Casa Marina. Everything about this venue is amazing. We almost always have the great weather in Key West, but this day was spectacular. I truly love perfect weather on a wedding day.  Kristen and Jay were such a fun, loving couple that just told me to help guide them as much as possible.  I make sure that the photography is one thing the couples do not need to worry about on their wedding day. I also cater to each couple's needs. If a couple has photographs in mind, I am very open to ideas.  I had an absolute blast photographing this wedding. Everyone was having such a great time. The friends and family had a great sense of humor.

Chandra & Tommy had a beautiful wedding at Ft. Zach. They also requested a Key West photo shoot. These are always a great time. The couple rides comfortably in my AC vehicle and we hit as many spots as possible that the timeline allows.  You can email Marcela and ask for a photo gallery of different locations. I have my favorites so, if you want, I can go to the ones I think will look best in the photographs and for that time of day.

This wedding took place at the Hyatt Resort, which is where I photographed my first wedding 18 years ago (1998).  They hired my wife Marcela to be their Videographer and she captured some great shots as well. This couple lives in Miami and they brought the fun Miami vibe to Key West for sure! They were a hoot throughout the entire wedding.  The bride and her son performed a surprise dance. Sunset Key Resort Wedding

Straight from Beantown, Courtney and Andy chose the Southernmost City to tie the knot.  When Courtney & Andy met, they lived in different parts of the country.  However, fate brought these two lovebirds together.  They were such an amazing couple with one of the most beautiful wedding days for photography.  This wedding location is Sunset Key, just off of Key West.  This couple were incredibly easy-going.  They put their faith in me as a wedding photographer and said, "just do what you do best!"  When you hire Solaris Photography, I make sure that the photography is the last thing you need to worry about.  Not only am I there to make sure you have superb photography, I like to give you a hand in any way I can. This allows the whole day to run smoothly. Creating amazing images for Courtney and Andy and for any couple really makes me happy.

After the ceremony, we went on a sunset sail boat ride, which was just amazing. After the sail we went to the beautiful Audubon House for the reception.  This is one of the coolest places for a reception.  They have a beautiful garden and the house is one of our island's architectural historical treasures.

Congratulations to Courtney and Andy for this beautiful wedding.  The love you have for each other is very inspiring!

I love photographing weddings at Sunset Key Resort.  This Venue is one-of-a-kind.  It has such amazing sunset views with a beautiful private beach.  The short ferry ride out to this private island is always fun.  This family was such a joy to work with because of their outgoing personalities.  They were so easy-going and had fun in front of the camera.  Weddings at Sunset Key Resort are always beautiful.

Amelia and Eran’s gorgeous Casa Marina wedding had perfect Key West weather! This was just another great Key West Wedding. The decor was beautiful. They really went all out.  Couple was great to work with. Amelia's mom did a lot of the planning and she was wonderful.

It was an honor to photograph Aubrey & Ryan's wedding at The Reach Resort! I've photographed more than a hundred weddings at this venue and this was one of the most enjoyable weddings at this location.  I really love being a photographer and this wedding was so fun because of their cheerful family and exciting circle of friends.  I spent almost the whole day with Aubrey and Ryan, and they really made me feel like family.  

The beautiful lighting we had on this day made it easy to capture wonderful photographs.  I shoot with two cameras with two different lenses, which was critical for this wedding because we were really crunched for time at one point.  One of the things that stood out from this day was how I kept showing Aubrey the photographs on the back of they camera and she would say, "Wow, the photographs on the camera look better than real life!"  I love it when the couple is very pleased with the photographs because that gives them an instantaneous sense of relief that they hired the right photographer.  I like to make each photograph a work of art, and when put together, they will tell a story.
